Effective October 6, 2026
Privacy Policy
Kevin the Pig collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no tracking, and no analytics or tracking tools in the app. The only thing the app sends over the internet is what's needed to sell and restore Kevin Plus.
What stays on your device
To remember where you left off, the app stores a few settings on your device only:
- which colour, material and lipstick you last chose,
- how many times you've squeezed Kevin, and
- whether you've already seen the first-run hint.
These never leave your device and are removed when you delete the app.
Seasonal specials
Some stages are free to keep for anyone who opens the app while they're on offer (the Halloween stage, until December 1, 2026). To remember that you're keeping one, the app saves a small marker in your iCloud Keychain, so it's still yours on your other devices and after reinstalling. Apple syncs it with end-to-end encryption; it never reaches the developer.
Kevin Plus purchases
Kevin Plus is sold through Apple's App Store. To check whether you've bought it, and to restore it, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous identifier created by the app, your purchase and its receipt from Apple, and basic technical details such as the app version, device model, country/region and language. It doesn't receive your name, email address or payment details, which stay with Apple. This data is used to provide and restore your purchase, and to show the developer anonymous, aggregate sales statistics (such as how many people bought Kevin Plus). It's handled under RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Photos
When you tap Save to Photos, the app asks for permission to add photos to your library. It uses this only to save the portraits you take of Kevin. It can't see, read, or change any other photos.
Beta testing with TestFlight
If you test the beta through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share information with the developer such as your name or email (if you were invited by email), crash reports, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. This is handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy and TestFlight's terms, and is used only to fix bugs and improve the app.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
